Each week, starting on December 1 and every Sunday morning after, you’ll receive an email with everything you need for the week. The email will introduce the week’s theme, include a short video lesson, provide practical tools and creative activities with easy-to-follow instructions, and finish with reflective journaling prompts to help you process and integrate what you’ve learned. This structure will guide you through the journey step by step, helping you make the most of each week.

Hi, i’m Anita!
For years during the holidays, especially when I found myself single– I had to go through bouts of lonely nights inside. The dark, cold nights used to bring up a lot of thoughts about where I was in life and how I wasn’t where I wanted to be both in life, and especially in my love life. It didn’t help seeing all the couples out holding hands and being cute and cozy together with their hot chocolates as I walked alone back home to my empty apartment.
It wasn’t until 2020, when I had moved out of my roommates and finally got my own place again that I learned not only how to deal with the loneliness that came about during those cold, dark, long winter months, but I learned how to connect to myself through many different creative and soul-expressive activities. Even more, I learned how to work WITH and befriend loneliness in a way that made me see that being alone wasn’t as scary as I thought it was… that it was actually an opportunity to get to know myself, my wants, my dreams, and what makes me feel alive and self-expressed!
That winter in 2020 is the inspiration to creating this Winter holiday experience, “Wintering with Self-Love”. I wanted to create an experiential, heart-centered, and even spiritual experience to bring you through just as I did 4 years ago back alone in my apartment in Vancouver.
