Powerful Lessons from Women Who Created Their Best Life

Mindset is everything. You can be in the best situation, but if your mindset is off even just a little bit and you’re falling into victim mode chances are you won’t be successful. When you’re on the transformation journey towards creating a life that is in alignment with your true self, you come across a lot of what is disheartening or hope-shattering. It’s in those times where these beliefs that myself and many other women have learned to shift into an intentional mindset. What I’m about to share with you took me years of learning, to shift from hopeless to empowering. If you are on the road to building a better relationship with yourself and aligning it with your purpose, then read on. With each philosophy, think about a time where it could have been useful in your own life, and how it would have benefited you and others around you.

1. Once You Feel You Are Enough, You Will Have Enough.

“Abundance is something to be, not seek or await.” –Tosha Silver

It’s a choice to look at your world through eyes of gratitude and contentment. So many of us were brought up learning that more was better, but in fact it’s the opposite. When you can take a moment to look around at what you already have so much in abundance of then you will see how lucky you already are. Equally, when you can look in the mirror and honor the many wonderful qualities you are already, you will feel a level of satiety; you will feel whole.

2. Intuition is Your Soul Speaking to You.

“Intuition is the whisper of your soul.” –Jiddu Krishnamurti

When you are searching for answers or a direction to go in, your Soul gives you clues. It can be in the form of goosebumps, a moment of intense clarity that you feel inside you, or a barely audible whisper that will sail in between your own conscious thoughts. You simply must be quiet enough to hear her, be open enough to take in the messages, and trust that what she tells you is the right message for you.

3. Attitude is Your Most Valuable Currency.

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you are right.” –Henry Ford

A positive attitude can carve the path to a beautiful day, boosts other’s energy and acts like a ripple effect to those around you. Start your day noticing what’s good in this world and you will watch yourself attract the right people and the right opportunities that you would not have attracted otherwise.

4. Follow Your Own Breadcrumbs, not Someone Else’s.

“When you expand your awareness, seemingly random events will be seen to fit into a larger purpose” –Deepak Chopra

Just like your Soul that will whisper guidance to you through your own intuition, the Universe itself will do the same. When you are conscious of what comes across your path you will notice that nothing happens by chance, and that many things come into your life like small breadcrumbs showing you the way. As you’re moving through life, be open to seeing the breadcrumbs as they can take many forms all of which are leading you further along your path.

5. Be Bold in Every Pursuit.

“Life shrinks and expands in proportion to one’s courage.” –Anais Nin

With every step you take make sure you’ve got 100% of your weight in it. Your input is directly proportional to your output after all, so advance with all you’ve got when pursuing what you want.

6. You Become What You Consume.

“You are a product of your environment. Choose the environment that will best develop you toward your objective.” – W. Clement Stone

Pay attention to not only the food you eat, but the people you surround yourself with, what you listen to and what you read on a regular basis. Is what you’re consuming adding to your mental health and wellness or is it deflating you? Set high standards to what you allow into your inner circle.

7. What You Persistently Seek You Will Find.

“Whatever you consistently think about and focus upon you move toward.” –Tony Robbins

When you focus your thoughts, your energy and your heart towards accomplishing one thing, you will find that over the course of you trying to complete it, the world will shift and work with you to help your in your task. But if you believe that the thing you want to accomplish is too difficult or out of reach and spread your energy thin, you won’t be at the same level to receive these helpful shifts from the world, nor will you be open to seeing help if it arrives.

8. Create Your Own Path.

“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

It is so tempting to want to follow someone else’s path, especially when it looks so rich and exciting. But if you were to follow someone else’s path it wouldn’t be aligned with why you’re here and what your purpose is. Your path is equally rich and exciting, you just maybe haven’t opened your eyes to see it yet. Follow those breadcrumbs from the universe and watch your own story unfold.

9. You Must Let Go of the Old to Invite the New.

“Detachment creates room for creation.” –Tosha Silver

It’s little worth to hold onto something or someone that no longer gives you value. Like ivy or dandelions, they’ve got a lovely appearance but when they take over your space it’s time to get rid of them. This takes courage, because often the hardest things to let go of are the things we’ve held onto for so long. Remove the weeds and allow the fresh soil to house new flowers.

10. Above All Else, Trust Yourself.

“No one will listen to us until we listen to ourselves.” – Marianne Williamson

We often forget just how powerful we are and that’s usually due to a lack of trust in ourselves. We rely often on the direction of others when the best answers for ourselves and our life is from within. You have the power to create the very situations and experiences you wish.

Living your best life takes commitment in every step to shift not only how you see your world, but how you interact with it. With the Universe as your guide and your soul as your compass, you are never alone. Not all things that happen in life are “good” but what they do is help you grow into greater, more powerful version of yourself. When you are your best self, you can begin living your best life.
